Pugski.com and SkiGearTV.com have joined forces for the 2017-18 ski season to bring the public the most comprehensive ski equipment reviews and test results on the web.
Reno-based Pugski.com, known as the best editorial resource in ski media, has received millions of page views since its inception in 2015. Pugski provides the skiing consumer with comprehensive skiing news, information, and ski equipment reviews. With a unique insider’s perspective, Pugski.com has developed easy-to-understand and relatable snowsports content. As a result, Pugski.com has enjoyed amazing growth in both site visitations and membership.
Since 2009, SkiGearTV.com has generated more than 5 million YouTube channel views, exceeding the majority of ski equipment manufacturers. Based in Jackson Hole, SkiGearTV provides the skiing consumer with the same style of information as Pugski, but in a video format, which cuts right to the heart of what makes the best ski equipment work. Watching the SkiGearTV test team in action immediately reveals their individual skill level, because video doesn’t lie.
This season’s collaboration was a logical step for Pugski and SkiGearTV. SkiGearTV videos will be available on Pugski.com’s news page, gear reviews, and subscription newsletter. SkiGearTV viewers will also have access to Pugski’s content via direct links to Pugski’s industry-leading reviews.
The respective site owners, Tricia and Phil Pugliese and Tim Flanagan, met at SIA 2017 and immediately realized the logical synergy. The owners each have lifelong skiing experience. Based on their love of snowsports, they have a deep respect for the average consumer, including those who are new to the sport as well as those who have been skiing their entire lives. This tremendous opportunity to share content, build traffic, and work on future projects was too good to pass up. Look for both brands at future demos and trade shows.

About Pugski.com:
Pugski.com has become a leader in skiing news, information, and gear reviews in a very short time. Pugski reviews are unique and interactive, allowing consumers to discuss and debate gear with their testers. Pugski creates excitement like no other review site or skiing publication. As the online ski community continues to grow, Pugski.com has been at the forefront of content creation, information, and traffic generation. Since its launch in 2015, Pugski.com has enjoyed millions of page views. Phil Pugliese began skiing in the mid-70s in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania; from then on, he found himself entrenched in the industry. He has worked in various ski shops from suburban to ski town to resort, giving him a well-rounded perspective on what skiers want from their gear. That experience was parlayed into serving as the review editor on Epicski and consulting with manufacturers as a product tester. Along with being a Masterfit-trained bootfitter, Phil is a fully certified self-proclaimed Gear Guru. Not only does he keep up with the cutting edge of ski gear technology, but he is an avid gear collector and has an extensive array of bindings as well as many vintage skis. See Phil’s LinkedIn profile here.
Skiing became Tricia Pugliese’s passion from the moment she turned 18; it was because of that passion that she volunteered at a small school in Northern Michigan to start up a learn-to-ski program for kids. A little over 25 years later, Tricia moved to the Lake Tahoe Basin to make skiing her life and career. She is still passionate about helping people enjoy their skiing experience, whether face to face or online. Besides being an owner, she is the site manager on Pugski.com and reviews both hardgoods and softgoods for manufacturers. She is also a Masterfit bootfitter and a consultant to industry insiders about the importance of women’s ski gear. See Tricia’s LinkedIn profile here.
